Keeping children healthy is the #1 goal of the Department of Pediatrics at Stony Brook University Medical Center. Our general pediatricians provide comprehensive primary care, including routine well and sick visits for children from birth through age 21. There are seven practices located throughout Suffolk County, including East End locations in Riverhead, Southold and Hampton Bays. Evening and Saturday hours are available at most sites. For appointments, please call (631) 444-KIDS (5437).

    House of Sports and FC Westchester Partner to Offer Soccer Camp
    House of Sports, which partnered with FC Westchester last spring to offer a soccer program, now offers a soccer summer day camp. The camp, for children of all ages and skill levels, helps campers improve their soccer skills through drills, games, and tournaments.

    Chinese Language Immersion Program Offered at WCC
    Huaxia New York Central Chinese School offers a Chinese language immersion program for children at Westchester Community College. Children learn the language through lessons and poems and culture by being immersed in activities such as martial arts or folk dancing.

    Scarsdale Candy Store Gives Back, Now Offers ChariTotes
    Imagine Candy, a candy store in Scarsdale that is involved in charitable efforts, now offers ChariTotes for customers to purchase. ChariTotes are craft kits for children, and 10 percent of the profits are donated to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
