Temple Beth Sholom Welcomes Adults with Special Needs for Havdalah Celebration

On Thursday, April 27 at 7:30pm, Temple Beth Sholom in New City will welcome 80-plus adult guests from Rockland ARC, Camp Venture, HVDDSO, and Jawonio for a Havdalah celebration.
 

Havdalah is a Jewish religious ceremony or formal prayer marking the end of the Sabbath. The evening event at Temple Beth Sholom will be filled with light and love for our guests and volunteers as we dance, sing, and pray.

Temple Beth Sholom is an engaged Reform congregation made up of approximately 300 families. TBS cares deeply about creating an environment of inclusion, respect, and involvement and aims to nurture the relationships bein adam l'chavero (between congregants). One of the goals of TBS is to build a Judaism that is modern, relevant, and relational.

Temple Beth Sholom hosts five events for people with special needs each year, all of which are held on Thursday evenings for the convenience of our guests. They are:
